Advocating for improved safety infrastructure, blackspot remediation and public rescue equipment at local, state and national levels. Supporting Lifesaving Victoria in community consultation for their signage trials. Signage Trial for Victoria’s Most Dangerous Beaches – Welcome to Life Saving Victoria

Supporting the establishment of a Regional Water Safety Group and contributing to a regional based framework involving Mornington, Bass Coast, Casey, Cardinia and Dandenong Councils. The framework uses new research to guide councils on how to protect communities, particularly culturally diverse communities who are statistically at higher risk.

Contributing to the development of the Local Mornington Peninsula Shire Water Safety Plan released for community consultation in December 2025.
